This clinic is part of our phlebotomy network, which means a trained clinician will take your blood sample during your appointment. If your chosen test also requires a urine or swab sample, we will send you a discreet sample kit before your appointment, either to your home address or to a nearby collection point. The kit is delivered in plain, unidentifiable packaging and includes everything you need, with clear instructions designed to make the process simple and straightforward.

Any urine or swab samples included in your kit will need to be completed at home before your appointment. Please bring your completed samples with you to the clinic, together with your ID. At the clinic, the clinician will take your blood sample, after which all samples should be posted back to our laboratory using the prepaid packaging provided. We also recommend taking a photo of the tracking label before posting, so you have it for your records.

If you would prefer a clinic where all samples, including urine and swabs, are taken on site, we offer this across many of our clinics, so there is no need for a postal kit. You can find these options in the clinic details on our website before booking, or our customer services team will be happy to help you choose the most suitable clinic. Once your samples arrive at our laboratory, your results will be available through our secure online platform within the turnaround time shown when you book.

Should your test return a positive result, we can refer you to our partner medical organisation for treatment and a consultation, so that you don’t need to tell your regular GP if you don’t want to.

No. Your test and results are not automatically added to your NHS medical record. We do not disclose your results to any third party. If you wish to share your results with your GP, this must be done at your request.
