Our Instant Herpes II test allows you to diagnose herpes in under half an hour whilst you wait. Herpes II, may also be known as genital herpes. Although it primarily affects the genitals, it may also affect your face and mouth if you have come into contact with it in this region.

Collection methods -
Blood
This test is designed for anyone who believes they’ve come into contact with the Herpes II (HSV2) and wants to get checked. It’s also useful for anyone who has a genital rash and suspects it may be caused by genital herpes.
The test is carried out using a blood sample which will be taken at our clinic location by a clinician at one of our partner clinics. They will then undergo the testing process and gain your results whilst you wait, in under 30 minutes.
This test takes 30 minutes to gain accurate results.
Please be advised that this test will only offer the advised level of accuracy 14 days after potential exposure. If you believe you came into contact sooner than 14 days then you may wish to contact our customer services team who can discuss your options with you.
Clinic Procedure
As this is an Instant Test, offering results whilst you wait, this test is only available by visiting one of our specially selected clinics. You’ll be assisted by a clinician in collecting your sample who will talk you through the process.

Our clinics are all based in a discreet setting and because many of them are general health clinics, there’s no reason why anyone will know that you’re there for a sexual health screening. Just let the receptionist know who you are upon arrival.
This test requires a blood sample for accurate results. The blood sample is a simple finger prick sample which is then dropped on a testing panel before we add the reagent to it.
Once you’ve deposited your samples you’ll be asked to wait in the clinic waiting room whilst the reagent has time to react to your samples. The clinician will then notify you of your results.
