FAST Chlamydia & Gonorrhoea (Throat Swab)

This test is for anyone who believes they may have come into contact with chlamydia or gonorrhoea as a result of unprotected oral sex. It’s also useful if you have symptoms in the throat that you believe could be associated with either of these STDs.

Results for this test will usually be available within a day of being received by the laboratory. All of our samples are sent to the laboratory by either post or courier, usually taking 1-2 working days, depending on the time of your appointment.

This test offers accurate diagnosis 14 days after exposure to chlamydia or gonorrhoea. Testing before this time will likely result in incorrect results unless you’re exhibiting clear symptoms.
